The Chesnutts' 1965 Imperial Crown Coupe

In November 1979 we purchased this gorgeous 1965 Imperial Crown Coupe from our neighbor’s best friend, who bought it new in Portland, Oregon. The paint is Persian White with red leather seats. It had 57,010 miles and now has 64,950 miles. In June 1983, we drove this luxury Coupe with our children to the WPC 14th National Meet at Lake Tahoe and then on to Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Grand Canyon National Parks covering 3,383 miles. It was a real thrill to drive such a quiet, powerful road car. 1965 was the first year headlights were grouped behind tempered glass panels. Production figures for Crown Coupes were 3,974. It is all original and looks and feels like a new car.
